The Magic Of the Orion System

In another impressive effort to aid their customers in every way possible, Ford has included an all new cruise control system that is designed to help motorists avoid speeding fines.
The new system, codenamed Orion, is Ford’s response to the ever increasing demands of consumers and the increased use of speed cameras.
Whilst the engineers at Ford have not suggested that the design of the new system was solely influenced by consumers’ desires to avoid speeding fines, it has been revealed to drive.com.au that it was part of the reason. Safety was also a driving factor.
The Orion system allows the new Falcon’s cruise control to be adjusted in mere 1 kilometre per hour increments. This in itself is just half of the increments made possible by the previous model.
Motorists now get the chance to set their desired speed with the help of an all new digital cruise control set display system. This has been designed to make the task of speed setting easier and much more user friendly. Once the speed has been set, users are able to increase or decrease it by increments of 1km/h or 10km/h, with the aim being simpler changes to the cruise control as you move from one speed zone to another.
With this new system, it is apparent that Ford’s new Ford Falcon has been designed with the interests of motorists in mind.
